Rebecca Murray and myself are running two free information & taster sessions on Yoga Therapy in Aberdeenshire Wellbeing Festival. These take place on
Friday 20th May at 10am-12noon and 1-3pm in The Fly Cup’s Function Room in Burghmuir Circle, Inverurie AB51 4FS.
Combining ancient wisdom and contemporary scientific understanding, Yoga Therapy is being applied effectively to manage, support and sometimes heal many of the conditions in which we find ourselves.
With Yoga Therapy, clients are provided with a short, simple practice specifically designed for their needs and asked to follow this at home daily for a period of time. This allows the practice to create, strengthen and embed new patterns in bones and musculature, physiology, breath, nervous system and mind to support a holistic journey towards better health and increasing the awareness (or mindfulness) to maintain it.
These Information Sessions aim to offer a brief introduction to the theory, approach and tools that Yoga Therapy can offer.
We would be delighted to see you there and very grateful if you could forward this invitation onto your colleagues and clients, and post details on your social media sites and feeds.
